An Expensive University Textbook About Art that Has No Pictures?

The Calgary Herald claims that it's about the perennial problem of pricey textbooks. Not so. It's about the perennial problem of the idiocy of some elements/aspects of post-secondary education.

An art history textbook sans art? That makes about as much sense as, say, a Yale University Press book about the Danish Motoons controversy sans the 'toons.
