Today in "No Jokes in Islam," Egyptian Koran-Fan Takes Umbrage at Jon Stewart's Jocular Tribal Reference

It's only--and always--about the Koran, something Jon Stewart hasn't yet twigged to:
American comedian Jon Stewart is stirring the proverbial pot as usual–but this time he’s doing it halfway around the world.
Appearing on controversial Egyptian TV satirist Bassem Youssef’s show, Stewart addressed his summer sabbatical: “As you know my people like to wander the desert, that’s what I’m doing now…it’s been two weeks, I’ve got 38 years and 50 weeks left.”
Not everyone in Egypt took too kindly to Stewart’s humor, however. Anonymous blogger Elder of Ziyon spotted an article in Egyptian paper Al Mesryoon which complained about this appearance—saying that Stewart was mocking the Koran.
According to the blogger, the Koran says that the Jews wandered 40 years in the desert because of their sins, and Al Mesryoon took umbrage with his lighthearted attempts at provoking laughter...
One might quip that it's time for Al Umbrage to lighten up, but his sort never do.
