"Imagine a Place Where Children Play Latvian Memory Games, Dress Up in Child-Sized Kimonos and Are Lulled to Sleep by Sigur Ros"

Sounds like torture to me (especially the Sigur Ros part). Actually, they're activities available at a new "anti-pre-school" in NYC. Along with the games, dress up and aimless New Age-y electronic music, the school
will offer activities like yoga and body painting, “while 2-year-olds might eat sardines and imitate dolphins...
Yikes! Let's hope and pray Ontario's Ministry of Education, OISE and the TDSB don't hear about it. That sort of kookiness is right up their pedagogic alley.
